Chicago Stuff
The Chicago star ligature CHISTAR as well as the Roboto typeface used throughout this site were inspired + implemented via instructions from the city's official Typography & Design page. And especially the All Assets Page.
I didn't know this page existed until I tried to find the Chicago Star as a random "oh this would be a neat design to incorporate" thought. I was immediately charmed by the care put to this page, as well as the snark:
